NOIRCOTICS is a premium puzzle game for PC developed by NOIR. It is a first-person crime puzzler featuring PS1-style graphics and neo-noir themes. In it, players will take on the role of a drug maker working for the mob in a world where narcotics have become legal and are being monetized.
Cooking narcotics
NOIRCOTIC takes place in an alternate neo-noir city wherein narcotics have been made legal and are being sold by criminal organizations. You're a drug peddler employed by the mob and tasked with coming up with a way to compete with other gangs and turn a profit by tweaking your formula to save up on cost while still providing that much sought-after high.
You have access to the tools of the trade to help you start cooking and experimenting. With no real way of knowing what will happen, explore and test different mixes and combinations to achieve the ideal purity level. The gameplay itself is rather confusing, as there's no tutorial or guide to help you get going. You pretty much have to fumble and figure everything out yourself.
Intriguing but confusing
From the get-go, NOIRCOTICS has an intriguing premise wrapped around puzzle gameplay mechanics and distinct noir themes. However, it is also quite confusing from the moment you start as you're left to figure things out on your own, which will put off some players. Hopefully, this can be addressed promptly.
